{News} Helping Tiny and Whiting Animal Control

As some of you may have read, we are going to be helping out Whiting Animal Control on some training. We are happy to report that Tiny is doing much bettr since his first training session (YAY to my big blockhead!). We will be going back out again on Thursday to train a little more.
As part of our goal to help these pibbles out we have suggested that Whiting Animal Control look into getting a treadmill to burn some of the pent up energy these dogs are internalizing off. Since this is a very small facility, funds are scarce. If anyone has an old treadmill that they would like to donate it would surely help us out with helping these pups out. We don’t need anything fancy, just another outlet to help the dogs we will be working with.
Please contact if you can help. And as always, thank you for all your wonderful support!
Meet Diesel

We went out and did an assessment on this little guy today for Whiting Animal Control. They have worked real hard at becoming a no kill facility and Diesel has been with them for a year now.
After having him described to me over this past week, I will admit that I was a little nervous for his future. But, within minutes of meeting him, I was in love with this gentle soul. He is so eager for direction, structure and to please his humans. He is going to be a joy to work with!
He will need some focused training before he can go into a foster or forever home and we have offered to help. We will head back down on Thursday to go over training with the rest of the staff and volunteers. We will also continue to work with him one on one weekly as well as be there for his foster and/or adopter when the time comes.
